it used to limit fps since gunz still isn't doing it
now after update it doesn't work anymore

You can use other programs like: Bandicam,Action! and more
By the way,we're working on the FPS system so you can use our FPS very soon.

something to do with the anti-cheat/hack

Anti-cheat blocks Dxtory. In-game FPS limiter works now on every Windows operating system.
