It's 2018 and it's about time we actually change literally the stupidest rule of UGG.
14. Force Lag in CW/PW (if the player has 500+ ping during all rounds).
People actually have to be above 500 ping "during all rounds" to even qualify to be banned. This ultimately means three things, 1) if they lag for 490 ping they can't even get a warning, 2) if they have 260 ping and teleport around the whole map they get nothing, and 3) if they actually FORCE LAG and it's not ABOVE 500 ping, which it actually almost NEVER is then nothing happens.
So ultimately this rule has nothing to do with people actually force lagging or force spiking it has more to do with ANYONE above 500 ping, forcing or not. Keep in mind when people force they are almost never going above 500 ping so that quantitative measure is utterly useless and just there so it can be calculated when someone is punished or not.
The only reply staff have to this is "but people who play the server are all around the world and someone from Brazil gets 200 ping to someone in Korea". That has nothing to do with the topic of force lagging or even lagging in general. The topic were discussing is people intentionally forcing their ping to spike or themselves to spike to gain an advantage. The actual amount of normal ping they have due to distance does not matter.
Anyways this rule is stupid and needs to be re-thought to a more serious rule. At the moment this just seems like "anyone under 500 ping is fine, ***** off".
