Yes, ask staff!!! They Can check it for you and sometimes they willing to delete it for you

Hello,
Sorry, but the nickname of another player can't be deleted, only the owner of the account can do it.
However, you can delete your inactive nickname. Just leave the clan and in the character's domain, click delete.
Note: It's worth highlighting that from the moment you delete a nickname, you allow another player to create the same nickname in another account, hence preventing you to recover the deleted character.
