It's entirely up to the owner(s) who receive the donations.
If we could have it as different countries, that would be awesome, but unfortunately it would be too hard to code into an international-donation system.
Most servers run on the USD because that's where most of the players on their servers are from, if you look on UGG, most of the players are from the EU/BR situated areas. Thus, the majority (technically) rules.
