É possível rodar o Universe Gunz em uma distribuição Linux?

Eu uso o Linux Mint 18 Cinnamon e já tentei iniciar o jogo pelo Wine e instalar com o PlayOnLinux, e consegui inicar o Launcher.
Mesmo assim, os programas retornam o mesmo erro quando o client é inciado:

Sei que o Gunz não tem suporte ao OS, mas já li relatos de pessoas que conseguiram jogar sem uma VM.
Há algum jeito?
