Lately i've seen a lot of players having problems with the gunz not running or laging. On this thread you will find useful information for your gunz to run nice and smooth. If the gunz still doesn't work, contact a GM or Headstaff.
We have all committed the mistake of downloading a game without checking the requirements. It is very important to check the requirements, for they will show you if your PC can handle it or not. To avoid lost of time trying to contact the staff team for suport, and waiting for the feedback (not that it takes long), you can try to fix the issues you are facing just by checking some things.
Before downloading the game check if you have:
• Windows 2000, Windows XP or higher.
• DirectX 9.0c or higher. (Personally i recommend Directx9).
• Pentium III 500 Mhz CPU or better.
• 256 MB of Memory or higher (This is RAM memory, not disk space memory).
• Graphic Card Direct3D 9.0 Compatible.
• Sound Card (in-builted in the mother board).
• Mouse Windows Compatible.
• Visual Studio (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. / You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.) Click on the system you have to download.
• Make sure your drivers are up to date. (IMPORTANT)
• Minimum of 1 MB of internet UPLOAD. (Otherwise you might spike to other players).
• Minimum of 1 MB of internet DOWNLOAD. (Otherwise other players might spike to you).
Obviously, if you have better internet UPLOAD and DOWNLOAD, your chances of having high ping is low, and the chances of other players having high ping is low as well. After cheking the minimum requirements you can now download the game. Disable your antivirus if the download corrupt or halt in the middle.
Okay, so now you have the gunz downloaded, you obviously already have a account
registered, if not, you can register You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.
Okay, so now you are in the game, you entered a room, hit tab and see a bunch of red numbers, those numbers are Pings. The higher the number, the higher their ping, but sometimes it is not them, it is you that might have a high ping.

Like in the title, FPS is frames per second that a game runs. In the gaming world, every game needs to run at 60fps, the same goes with gunz, to play the game it is a need to have fps higher then 60. Your computer will process each frame per second of the game, the more information on that frame, the bigger size of the frame be, size in kb, the more kb the slower it will process the frame. Having the requirements to play the game does not mean you will have high fps, the requirements will provide you a normal gameplay with fps above the requirements to play a game, 60 that is. However, the higher the fps, the smoother your game is going to run. That is why a good video card is recommended if you want to have a good game experience.
FPS higher then 800 is considered bad for some players, the game provides a mechanism of limiting fps, those being 60, 120, 240, 333, 500 and unlimited.
Things you can do that might increase your fps:
• Lower the resolution.
• Deactivate Reflection Effect
• Deactivate Light Map
• Deactivate Shader

Como a própria tradução do nome já diz, FPS são os quadros por segundos que um jogo roda. No caso dos jogos do mundo todo é necessário 60fps, com o gunz não é diferente, para jogar o jogo é necessário possuir fps acima de 60. Seu computador irá processar cada quadro por segundo do jogo, quanto mais informação naquele quadro, mais pesado será o quadro e mais demorado será o processo do mesmo. Possuir os requisitos não significa que o seu fps será alto, os requisitos irão lhe fornecer um jogo normal, com fps acima do necessário. Porém quanto mais alto o fps, melhor irá rodar o seu jogo. Por isso é recomendado uma boa placa de vídeo caso queira ter experiência melhor para jogar.
FPS acima de 800 é considerado ruim para alguns, então o jogo fornece um mecanismo de estabilização para fps podendo limitar o mesmo para 60, 120, 240, 333, 500 e ilimitado.
Coisas que você pode fazer para aumentar o fps:
