Name: Huey Lewis & The News
Date of birth: 98. I'm barely legal.
Languages (Programming and/or other): I feel so ****ing lame listing these. Java, Python, C/C++, Javascript, also I ****ed around with C with Classes for like 2 months when I was 15.
Skills / Experience: I'm a full-time full-stack developer for a company that's built countless million dollar companies. With numerous clients that I've personally worked with being accepted into YTCombinator for funding, I'm extremely confident that I'm good at what I do.
Proof of work: 'ight. Been working with the GunZ source for less than two weeks, but I'd say I have a firm understanding of it. Right now the ***** I have to post honestly is somewhat lacking. This thread will get updated as I work on new stuff throughout today. I'm also in the process of replacing all of the irritating(to me) XML storage with a better alternative. I'm honestly somewhat hesitant to spend countless hours on something and figure out it ends up being pointless. So if you'd like to issue me a "challenge" or whatever, I'd gladly accept. At least then I'd have an outline of what I need to do rather than doubting my idea the entire time I'm working on it.
Anyways, here's *****.
Variable distance. Honestly, there's no way for you to know that I didn't just rip this straight from RGZ. It's literally just changing one float value based on input from the user.

Toggling snow on any map. Works nicely imo.

I've tinkered around with GunZ web stuff before as well. Most of it's using Python/Django/Django REST/Angular js. If not that, pure Flask.
I made this as a concept for an idea I had in like an hour or two on break a few months back.

That was built with Django + Angular2.
Is all proof of work your own work? Ye.
Closing: Honestly, I may not have the GunZ experience you're looking for, but I'd like to think I make up for that with ambition. I want nothing more than to contribute and move GunZ forward as a game. I don't care about source access. Feel free to have me work with whatever source you deem fit. I'm a good developer and this is something I care about. I'm confident that I'll be able to deliver content that will set the server apart even more than it already is. I'm friends with all of the current programmers at FG, and working with them would be an absolute pleasure and something I'm definitely looking forward to if I am given the chance.
I've played this game since I was 7 years old. I'm absolute garbonzo beans at it, but I love it. Being able to work on GunZ with 100% confidence that what I'm making will receive critique, testing, and possibly even played on live servers, is something that would give me a ridiculous amount of joy.
If you have any questions I'm on Discord basically all day and Jetman/S1lent both have my Skype.
Oh, side note: I'm a great web developer. That's the only thing I will call myself great at. If anything's needed, even if it's from scratch, I can do it at a moment's notice.
