General 999/AE Fixes

Below are a few tutorials, suggestions, and guides as to how fix the 999/AE ping issue. Note that these are not fixes that represent a positive fix/solution, they are just possible solutions.

Suggestions

- Disable your Windows Firewall, Personal Firewall and Anti-Virus:

• In other words, also allow UGG.exe / UGG.Launcher.exe through your Firewall (through your computers Control Panel)
  
• Also, completely installing/having UGG will prompt you that UGG is a "bad item", this is only because it is seen as an unknown program
  
• You might also want to check out this tutorial created by mdgmdg on anything related to your Firewall: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.
  

- Try to open/change your ports (7700-7800 UDP and TCP):

• Basically, try to change the in-game ports from 7700-7800 to 7800-7900 and open them again (this will refresh your ports) and automatically place them as acceptable in regards to UGG.

 - Configure your UPNP and PPPOE settings in your router:

• You might want to use the following tutorial created by Helios on how to do this: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.
  

- Check if your internet is stable:

• Simply test your internet provider by running several programs (internet, skype, etc) to see if things load slowly/quickly.
  
• If things load quickly, then there is another issue going on (such as the ones mentioned above).
  
• If things load slowly, then your ISP might be protecting you (manually) from UGG.exe as it is (again) seen as an unknown program
