[SOLVED] When equipping an item, it says something different in-game?

Hey there,

Recently downloaded UGG, because of the nostalgia that I have for this game. I've played it a bit.


Anyways, I bought a few different swords and no matter what melee weapon I equip, in game it always says the Golden Dragon Sword. This is the same with my Breaker shotguns; whenever I equip those, it says I am using a Pioneer in-game. Are the weapons in game really the ones that I equipped but with a wrong name, or are none of my equipment changing?

Also, I can't seem to equip different types of melee weapons. I bought a kodachi and it was still a regular sword.

Why is this?

Hi there james,
Try switching from Free Channel 2 ~> Free Channel 1

Free Channel 2 is the " Non-donator/Event item " channel

For anyone else who may have this issue, Free Channel 2 is a channel that automatically chooses your weapons (it is based on balancing), so if this happens to you, direct yourself to Free Channel 1 (as Helios said).
